Neighborhood Student Enrollment for 2023-2024:

Enrollment for grades kindergarten – 5th grade for the 2023-24 school year is now available. Families must reside within our school boundaries. If you’re not sure, you can use this tool: School Finder.

To enroll, please complete the online registration found here: New Student Online Enrollment for 2023-24. Please note: this online enrollment process is only for students who are new to San Diego Unified. If your child has previously been enrolled at a school in San Diego Unified, please contact Holmes directly.

You may also contact School Clerk, Miriam Jacobson at [email protected] for fillable electronic forms, or you may stop by the office for a hardcopy packet between the hours of 7:45am – 3:45pm daily. If coming to Holmes, please park on the street and not in the staff parking lot. Contact Miriam with any questions regarding enrollment.

Choice Enrollment

All applications received from October 3, 2022 to November 15, 2022 will be part of the lottery process which is completed in February 2023. Parent notifications of the lottery results will be sent via email in early March 2023.  

Late applications may be submitted and will be processed in time/date order. Choice priorities do not apply to applications submitted after November 15, 2022.
